About The Position

The Scaffold Builder position at Chart Industries involves the erection and disassembly of scaffolding in compliance with safety regulations. The role is critical in supporting the assembly and fabrication of cryogenic equipment at the New Iberia facility, which serves major industries such as LNG and petrochemicals.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or technical program completion.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of shop math preferred.
• Certification to erect scaffolds in compliance with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Possess basic knowledge of scaffold erection and disassembly.
• Complete daily visual inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Erect scaffolds in compliance with OSHA CFR 1926.451 and/or CFR 1910.28.
• Utilize fall protection equipment in accordance with OSHA CFR 1926.502.
• Work at elevated heights up to 75ft.
• Adhere to all safety standards.
