About the position

The School Age Site Director at Pickaway Schools is responsible for overseeing the YMCA's Before and After School Program. This role involves planning and implementing daily programming, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and fostering positive relationships among students, families, and school personnel. The position aims to create a safe and academically stimulating environment for children during school hours and after school.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning and implementing of daily programming.
• Work closely with school and YMCA personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with YMCA employees, school personnel, administration, students, and families.
• Ensure compliance with ODJFS licensing rules and standards.
• Keep written student records and collect data for reports.
• Establish and promote a safe and academically stimulating environment at assigned child care sites.

Requirements

• Experience in child care or education settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rules and standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory role.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
