About the position

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Scrum Manager to support an effort within Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic in North Charleston, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have direct experience implementing and managing software development lifecycle models (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.) concepts, practices, and processes in support of Navy and/or United States Marine Corps (USMC) Programs of Record (PoRs). Responsibilities

  • Provide project support to include but not limited to developing and documenting processes / process improvements within an Agile / SAFe environment.
  • Assists in the development, delivery, monitoring, and verification of task completion, tracking, and reporting.
  • Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.
  • Tracks internal impediments, issues and risks to ensure they are addressed and briefs to IPT leadership and external stakeholders as requested.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of Strategic Business Management experience in C4ISR Engineering Projects, to include: Development of Corporate Strategic Plans, Development of Organizational Performance Management Plans, Development of Organization Governance Structures, Guiding significant organizational change management efforts.
  • Six (6) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
  • Four (4) years as a manager of C4ISR software development / integration teams to include: supervising project personnel and/or team, scheduling work, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material.
  • Proven coordination and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in adoption and improvement of software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience applying development lifecycle methodologies within software, hardware, and operational environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Current Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 Program Management Certification, preferred.
  • Desired certification(s): SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Practice Consultant, etc.
