Scrum Master

About the position

A defense contractor in Belcamp/APG is looking to hire a Scrum Master to work alongside software engineers to develop, maintain, and enhance complex integrated software and hardware systems in support of scientific research objectives in a bio/chemical defense application. This role involves working on new emerging technology, problem-solving, and providing solutions on development, architecture, and new technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex integrated software and hardware systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to support scientific research objectives in a bio/chemical defense application.
• Work with full stack development using agile methodologies.
• Provide solutions for development, architecture, and emerging technology challenges.
• Train and assist other team members, providing leadership and taking on more responsibility as a sr-level engineer.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and end-of-day meetings to discuss progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with full stack software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Agile methodologies, Angular, Git, Jira, Confluence, JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with software architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Eligibility for Secret Level clearance (can start without clearance).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in bio/chemical defense applications.
• Experience in supporting Integrated Early Warning (IEW) and Cyber Assurance for the AFRL.
