Responsibilities

• Provide Scrum Master support for Salesforce initiatives, working in close coordination with the overall platform and other business line teams.
• Participate in Scrum of Scrum to represent your team as it relates to their work and assess asks from other business line teams.
• Coordinate release details amongst several groups, including teams with scrum cycles that may not necessarily match yours.
• Focus the team on the goals of the current iteration, keeping them on track.
• Ensure the delivery team's plan is visible and its progress is communicated to stakeholders.
• Help the delivery team to self-govern and self-organize.
• Remove barriers that block the team so they can deliver value at the end of the release.
• Act as a servant leader to the delivery team, helping them to improve and removing barriers to their progress.
• Follow up on issues raised in stand-up meetings to remove impediments.
• Partner with the Program Manager/Release Train Engineer and Product Owner(s) and Technology Owner(s) to maintain high quality and efficiency.
• Serve as a facilitator and conduit for communication with the delivery team and other stakeholders.
• Help the product owner manage the product backlog.
• Coach the team in Scrum project management practices.
• Encourage collaboration and facilitate Scrum-prescribed collaborations through various sessions.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of Scrum Master experience required.
• Salesforce.com experience.
• Excellent communication skills to gain respect from team, external stakeholders, and management.
• Ability to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring.
• Ability to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation.
• Willingness to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and facilitate quick resolution.
• Understanding of Agile metrics and reporting techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic development environment with matrix reporting structure.
• Ability to lead a team to make realistic and achievable delivery commitments.
• Ability to influence others including those in senior management.
• Strong written and verbal skills, comfortable presenting to large and small groups.
• Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum.
