About the position

The Seasonal Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for guests. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, conducting sales transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting in-store events. The advisor plays a key role in driving sales and ensuring compliance with company standards while fostering a welcoming environment for beauty enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to determine their individual needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct cashier tasks and handle customer service inquiries, including sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance the guest experience.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed about new and existing products to better serve guests and drive sales performance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that merchandise is stocked and organized according to company standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for guest service and sales competency.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the beauty industry or retail sales is a plus.
