About the position

As a Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked. Your responsibilities will include engaging with vendors and associates, ensuring accurate signage and pricing, and creating visually appealing product displays that are accessible to customers. You will complete merchandising resets and service-related projects in accordance with safety standards and detailed project instructions. This role involves building displays, processing damaged products, rotating and pricing stock, resolving project issues, and providing proof of project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Engage with vendors and associates to meet store needs.
  • Ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate for easy merchandise location.
  • Create visually appealing product selections that are safe and accessible to customers.
  • Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately and on time.
  • Follow detailed project instructions to ensure compliance with merchandising and safety standards.
  • Build displays and process damaged products.
  • Rotate and price stock as needed.
  • Resolve project issues or questions and check third-party work completion.
  • Provide proof of project completion.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Ability to work overnight and weekends as required.
  • Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of Lowe's sales floor experience.
  • 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and setting up displays.
  • 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
  • Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws).

Benefits

  • Pay range of $18.00 - $25.20 per hour based on various factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
