About The Position

The Security Officer at Hilton Chicago is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members while securing the hotel property. This role involves proactive monitoring of the premises, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe environment to enhance guest experiences and uphold the hotel's reputation for exceptional service.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Hotel security experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Open availability to work any day and shift, including overnights, holidays, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-volume hotel environment.
• Certifications in first aid or CPR.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential safety and security risks.
• Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property.
• Promote safe work practices among team members and guests.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Write reports and ensure the accuracy of necessary documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
