About the position
The Security Systems Administrator at VIRSIG, LLC is a contract role focused on the administration and maintenance of various security systems and applications at a client site in New Jersey. This position requires collaboration with the client's Security Systems Manager and involves ensuring the functionality and security of systems such as CCTV, access control, and surveillance technologies. The role is full-time and emphasizes the importance of cybersecurity and system integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and administration for client-owned security systems including Avigilon CCTV, Genetec CCTV, and others.
- Update and prepare responsibility matrix for security applications owned by client facilities throughout NYC/NJ area.
- Coordinate routine scheduled maintenance with maintenance contractors for client-owned applications.
- Address system vulnerabilities discovered on applications owned by client.
- Coordinate patching and rebooting schedule of client-owned systems.
- Work with vendors to resolve issues identified for security systems.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience with Windows Server (Required)
- 2 years of experience with VMWare (Preferred)
- 1 year of experience with LINUX (Preferred)
- Cisco Certified (Preferred)
- 2 years of Cybersecurity Experience (Preferred)
- Confidential Security Clearance (Preferred)
