About the position
The Self-Serve Gas Station Attendant and Cashier is responsible for various tasks at the gas station, including customer service, compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining cleanliness and safety at the station. The role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean the store and surrounding areas of the gas station.
- Follow all federal and state laws regarding the sale of tobacco, lottery, and alcohol.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Learn and implement safety procedures for the station's pumps in case of emergencies.
- Redirect customer complaints to shift managers.
- Greet all customers with respect and professionalism.
Requirements
- Ability to respectfully communicate with all people.
- Enthusiastic and friendly attitude.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Previous cash handling/cashier experience preferred.
