About the position

The Senior Agile Coach will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting multiple squads within a financial services organization. This hybrid position requires commuting to Merrimack, NH, two weeks per month. The coach will work closely with various leaders and teams to enhance Agile maturity, facilitate problem-solving, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovative thinking, and the ability to influence behavior change without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to Tribe Leader, Squad Leader, and Scrum Master, helping to identify solutions to obstacles.
• Regularly assess Squads' Agile maturity to inform coaching and development approaches.
• Foster a culture of learning and curiosity about Agile/Scrum principles to influence change.
• Share innovative and pragmatic solutions to problems to drive results.
• Coach and develop people and squads, influencing behavior change towards constant improvement.
• Influence without authority to promote collaboration and break down silos.

Requirements

• Transform multiple squads from hybrid and waterfall methodologies to Scrum and Kanban.
• Deliver training effectively to ensure knowledge transfer and mastery.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Specialized skills in Technical, Product Management, Project Management, test automation, or User Experience.
• Resolve impediments outside of the squad environment, collaborating with line managers and Enterprise Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience implementing various scaling frameworks.
• Collect, interpret, and communicate team metrics depicting progress and maturity.
• Proficient in JIRA, AgileCraft, Mural, Confluence, and MS Teams.
• Excellent communication and people-interaction skills.
