About the position

The Senior Agile Transformation Portfolio Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating lean portfolio management for a strategic enterprise portfolio during an agile transformation. This position requires a collaborative agile champion who will implement and oversee a portfolio of value streams, focusing on lean governance, funding, and portfolio operations while adapting to the corporate culture. The role is primarily remote but requires quarterly visits to Vienna, VA.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate lean portfolio management for a strategic enterprise portfolio.
• Implement and oversee a portfolio of value streams.
• Manage lean governance, funding, and portfolio operations.
• Adapt to and navigate corporate culture during agile transformation.
• Track and monitor project progress and identify gaps.
• Communicate progress to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Deliver presentations to virtual and in-person teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in managing complex, cross-organizational programs.
• Advanced knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
• Advanced knowledge of project management best practices, including change management and risk management.
• Advanced skills in tracking project progress and recommending controls.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and in a team environment.
• Extensive experience working with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
• Advanced consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Significant experience in delivering presentations to teams.
• Advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with launching value streams and enterprise-level Lean Portfolio Management.
