Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and much more. Taskrabbit is a remote-first company with employees distributed across the US and EU. This role will be fully remote through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in our dedicated office space in San Francisco starting September 2025.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data ontologies for Dolly’s core business objects, represented as our enterprise data model.
- Develop performant, scalable code for Dolly’s production data transformation layer.
- Design and develop efficient orchestrations between interdependent transformation.
- Implement transformation pipelines for raw data considering quality, detection/enforcement, and periodicity.
- Own data definitions for Dolly’s key business metrics.
- Work with executives, department heads and other stakeholders across the business to ensure data definitions align with business needs.
Requirements
- Expertise in Snowflake SQL, and dbt Cloud CLI (5 years)
- Expertise in dimensional modeling and SCD2 use cases (3 years)
- Expertise in at least one programming language used for data analysis (eg Python, R) (3 years)
- Experience designing and implementing data quality assurance and monitoring processes (2 years)
- Experience interacting with executive and senior management stakeholders around the topics of data access, quality, appropriate use, metric definitions and standardization (2 years)
- Familiarity with git (2 years)
- Commitment to data process development with a relentless focus on transparency, quality, efficiency and resilience
