Senior Applications Engineer

About the position

Determines independently complex equipment concepts, develops a written proposal response to a request for quotation which is within RWC's capabilities and adheres to customer specifications. Estimates accurate direct costs, includes firm quotations on special or major purchased components, and describes special areas such as mechanical motion, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical controls. Must have special equipment application/cost estimating experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively more responsible experience in applications engineering.
• Administrative and organizational skills for coordinating activities during the quoting phase.
• Analytical ability for developing and quoting accurate equipment costs.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with management, customers, vendors, and employees.
• Organizational skills to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work with computers and adapt to applicable software.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
