About the position

The Senior Architect / Project Manager will lead project teams in creating innovative architectural designs for a mid-size firm specializing in integrated architecture and interior design services. This role involves overseeing project coordination, ensuring accurate construction documents, managing budgets, and providing mentorship to design staff, all while delivering projects that align with client visions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for projects, utilizing the full resources of the firm.
• Oversee project coordination, including analysis, programming, scheduling, and establishing objectives.
• Ensure construction documents are accurate and reflect contract scope and design intent; coordinate technical details from vendors and clients.
• Conduct building code reviews with appropriate agencies and review progress with clients.
• Manage project design schedules, design fee budgets, and construction budgets.
• Collaborate with the Principal-in-Charge to oversee project agreements and manage construction bidding processes.
• Provide mentorship and act as a resource for the design staff.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience post-licensure.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple projects, ideally in the hospitality sector.
• Experience with projects exceeding $10MM in construction value is preferred.
• NCARB certification is a plus.
