About the position

The Senior Asset Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing a recently developed Class A Luxury Mixed-Use high rise in Los Angeles. This position requires a strategic mindset and a strong operational background to effectively direct and coordinate the operations and leasing of the property. The Senior Asset Manager will work closely with the General Manager to improve property performance, maximize value, and enhance investment returns. This includes developing and implementing strategies to lease vacant retail units, creating marketing strategies to attract customers, and maintaining regular reporting to investors on the property's progress. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of asset management, particularly in multifamily, hotel, and retail sectors, to ensure the property meets its financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations and leasing of the Class A Luxury Mixed-Use high rise property.
  • Develop strategies to lease vacant retail units effectively.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to attract customers to the property.
  • Monitor and report on the property's performance to investors.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to improve overall property performance and maximize investment returns.
  • Utilize financial models and Microsoft Excel to analyze property performance and make informed decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Asset Management, particularly in multifamily, hotel, and retail sectors.
  • Strong understanding of operations, financials, and leasing processes.
  • Proficient in using financial models and Microsoft Excel for analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA or CFA license preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in both English and Chinese is preferred but not required.
