About the position

The position involves testing application tools primarily using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and BDD/Cucumber. Secondary skills include API testing, database testing, and familiarity with tools like Soap UI and JMeter. The role requires experience with test management tools such as JIRA, and proficiency in IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ. Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins, operating systems including Windows and Linux, and basic SQL/Oracle database knowledge is also necessary. The candidate should be well-versed in programming languages such as Java and Groovy, and frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Page Object Model, Hybrid Framework, and BDD. Version control and repository management using Git and Bitbucket, as well as build tools like Maven, are also part of the job requirements. Experience in API testing is considered an additional asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Implement BDD/Cucumber for behavior-driven development testing.
• Perform API testing and database testing as required.
• Utilize JIRA for test management and tracking.
• Work with CI tools like Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JUnit and TestNG frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing with primary skills in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and BDD/Cucumber.
• Proficiency in API testing and database testing.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA.
• Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Soap UI and JMeter for performance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Groovy.
