About the position

Our client, a prominent non-profit organization in sports, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Benefits & Compensation Generalist to join their team at their Jamaica, NY office. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization maintains compliance with federal and state filings related to benefits, while also managing compensation programs effectively. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of benefits, compensation, and data analytics, along with familiarity with HRIS systems. This position requires a self-starting attitude, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and a detail-oriented approach to excel in the responsibilities assigned. In this role, the Senior Benefits & Compensation Generalist will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s internal HRIS systems, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date. The candidate will also be tasked with creating reports and analyzing data to inform decision-making processes regarding employee benefits and compensation strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR-related experience, particularly in benefits and compensation, and will be expected to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting abilities. This position is essential for supporting the organization’s mission and ensuring that employees are compensated fairly and equitably.

Requirements

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $92,000, commensurate with experience.
