About the position

The Senior Business Analyst - Data Developer SQL is responsible for high-level data analysis and reporting expertise, focusing on business profitability, growth, and efficiency. This role involves evaluating current practices, collecting information on industry trends, and creating specifications to support business initiatives. The position also includes developing modernized interactive dashboard reports and analytical tools, participating in special analytical projects, and potentially providing leadership within the work group.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert data support for business operations by responding to inquiries and identifying issues.
• Handles escalated matters during daily operations, providing guidance to business leaders and report developers.
• Serves as an analytics resource to the wider organization or business units.
• Leads detailed business requirements gathering for reporting delivery.
• Engages in data identification, analysis, and profiling.
• Makes iterative enhancements to dashboards and solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
• Supports the productionalization and maintenance of a portfolio of dashboards.
• Monitors reporting for potential data anomalies or issues with logic execution.
• Provides daily support for end-users and training on data and logic used in Business Intelligence tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, modeling, or reporting
• Analytical, Organizational, Computer, and Communication Skills
• Experience in SQL Coding, Alteryx, Database management, and Report Intelligence Tools (Tableau and/or Power BI)
