The Senior Business Analyst - IT will play a crucial role in driving execution within the product line, ensuring effective delivery, and transforming the product line while applying technical knowledge to solve business problems. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including business partners, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of products and services. The Analyst will manage solutions across team members and will be responsible for backlog prioritization, driving backlog refinement activities, and ensuring that the expected value of products is understood by stakeholders. In this hybrid role based in Racine, WI, the Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Business Product Manager to prioritize the backlog and facilitate the flow of new ideas. The role involves using a functional understanding of business processes to drive excellence in user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring the delivery of error-free products to the client community. The Analyst will also engage partners to support important business decisions and collaborate across organizations to optimize outcomes. Additionally, the position requires a strong understanding of core technologies related to the product and the ability to drive and support software vendor relationships to enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT with business software applications, experience in product management, and familiarity with budgeting and financial management applications related to IT projects. This role is essential for ensuring that CNH Industrial continues to innovate and drive customer efficiency and success, aligning with the company's mission of Breaking New Ground.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize the backlog in conjunction with the Business Product Manager and ensure expected value is understood for products.
- Drive backlog refinement activities including story creation in alignment with portfolio practices.
- Collaborate closely with business partners, internal IT team members, and SaaS solution providers to deliver overall product support.
- Manage the flow of new ideas and facilitate IT investment decision-making to avoid redundancy and manage dependencies.
- Utilize functional understanding of business processes to drive excellence in user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Engage partners to support important business decisions and optimize outcomes across organizations.
- Understand the domains of core technologies required to deliver product capabilities.
- Drive and support software vendor relationships to create strong solutions and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in IT with business software applications.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in IT, Business, or Computer Science plus 9 or more years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management applications related to IT projects or products.
