About the position

The Senior Clinical Revenue Applications & Support Analyst plays a crucial role in building and supporting applications that meet business needs within the healthcare environment. This position involves participating in the full development lifecycle of applications and projects, administering automated systems, and collaborating with senior developers and application architects to identify and implement effective technical solutions. The analyst will also be responsible for analyzing work processes, developing business work plans, and ensuring the successful execution of testing scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the business in determining the best technical solutions for issues/processes and how they can/should be integrated with other business and technical systems/processes.
  • Develops detailed business work plans for analysis, testing system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Evaluates the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the technical requirements for the current development, staging and production environments.
  • Analyzes work processes, feasibility of medium to large project requests, and troubleshoots operational problems.
  • Develops, plans and executes thorough and complete test scenarios and plans.
  • Assists in developing technology standards.
  • Coordinates resources required for task completion.
  • Serves as a direct liaison to functional process owners and subject matter experts.
  • Completes tasks by due dates or documents variances and alerts management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields (preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
  • 4 years of progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or a related Healthcare field.
  • 2 years of direct build experience on current EHR system version.
  • 1 year of Healthcare project management and budget management experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
  • Knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications.
  • Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations.
