We are looking for a Senior Cloud Application engineer for our Next Generation Central which is a unified AI-powered cloud network management platform. The candidate will participate in architecture and design discussions and develop scalable applications that run on top of Next Generation Central.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture and design discussions.
• Develop scalable applications that run on top of Next Generation Central.
• Work with Product Marketing to understand requirements and translate those into design and implementation.
• Collaborate with QA and Remote Teams.
• Contribute to multiple technical programs simultaneously.
• Help build a team and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of industry experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience in implementing scalable cloud applications.
• Proven record of developing and releasing cloud applications in production environments.
• Solid grasp of computer science/software engineering concepts, including common data structures, standard algorithms, object-oriented design, distributed computing, and cloud computing paradigms.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Postgres), NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Clickhouse, etc.), Graph databases, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience in deploying various techniques to scale applications in a cloud environment.
• Experience working with Agile Methodology.
• Proficiency in developing in Python, Golang, and Java.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of Networking Technologies, various networking protocols, L2, L3, and SDN concepts.
• Ability to contribute to multiple technical programs simultaneously.
• Help build a team, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with other teams to develop new technologies.
