About the position

The Senior Communications Advisor at Stellantis is a pivotal role focused on leading internal and external communications, particularly in response to employment issues. This position aims to shape the narrative that engages the workforce and aligns with the company's business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in public relations, advocacy campaigns, and political communications, and will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications campaigns that resonate with various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, execute, and refine a public relations strategy to support business objectives regarding employee issues and engagement.
• Conduct environmental analysis of current landscape on relevant issues.
• Provide insights, ideas, and solutions to support key policy initiatives and shape thought leadership initiatives.
• Develop and implement crisis communications strategies specific to employment matters for the company.
• Produce high-profile media relations activities across various mediums, including TV, radio, podcasts, and social media.
• Craft impactful messages and deploy content strategies for target audiences.
• Assess risk of decisions and prepare for different scenarios and outcomes.
• Write clearly on complex topics for various audiences and platforms, including press releases and social media.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices in public relations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in public relations, crisis management, political/policy communications, or media relations.
• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, political science, or a related field.
• Experience in crisis, issue, and reputation management, including the development of crisis management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relations with internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a broad suite of social media platforms.
• Knowledge of data and analytics capabilities for issues management response.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
