About the position

The Senior Communications Specialist will support Insider Threat and Counter-Intelligence activities by developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the customer's program mission. This role involves technical writing and editing, establishing policies and procedures, and maintaining the program's web presence. The specialist will also oversee written communication efforts, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to support the customer's program mission.
• Research, prepare, and edit technical documents related to Insider Threat and Counter-Intelligence activities.
• Review and edit materials for punctuation, grammar, and content accuracy.
• Identify and modify contextual errors, reorganize content, and edit graphics, tables, and illustrations.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate and complex content.
• Maintain the program website and web presence across the network enterprise.
• Oversee written communication efforts such as reports, presentations, and media posts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in technical writing and editing.
• Strong writing and comprehension skills.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience working with senior executives and multi-disciplined teams.
• Experience with contract management support.
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly.
