About the position

The Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager at Tencent plays a crucial role in shaping and managing the company's compensation strategies to align with industry standards and organizational goals. This position involves developing competitive salary structures, overseeing benefit programs, and analyzing compensation data to ensure fair and equitable pay practices across the company, particularly in the Americas region.

Responsibilities

  • Review compensation policies for the Americas region and align with HQ standards.
  • Design regional salary plans and systems, including salary ranges and equity incentive plans.
  • Participate in external benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive compensation principles.
  • Provide expertise on overseas compensation laws and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for compensation-related queries in the region.
  • Partner with country HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • C&B accreditations such as GRP, CECP, CSCP, CBP or related certifications.
  • Self-driven, conscientious, and adaptable with a strong ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience in a complex matrixed organization and start-up environment.
  • Previous experience in the Gaming, Tech & Startup sector is highly sought after.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin.
