Step into this vital role supporting NYP's initiative to enhance our robust Compliance and Privacy Program throughout the NYP system. You will be a part of a team that implements processes, reviews policies and increases awareness of Compliance and Patient Privacy Rights. Senior Compliance Policy Analyst - Corporate Compliance Under the overall supervision of the Director, Compliance Governance the Senior Compliance Policy Analyst will assist with the development and execution of policy management across the enterprise. You will coordinate and oversee the governance process for policy management standardization and collaborate with leadership as it relates to the creation and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures. In addition, oversee the policy technology solution and perform Auditing & Monitoring responsibilities as appropriate. This is a full time day shift position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and execution of policy management across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate and oversee the governance process for policy management standardization.
  • Collaborate with leadership on the creation and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the policy technology solution.
  • Perform Auditing & Monitoring responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in healthcare compliance and privacy or related fields.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local compliance laws, regulations and guidance.
  • Report writing experience and Policy & Procedure development experience.
  • High level of analytical, written, & oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate sensitive issues when needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master’s degree.
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CCEP, CHC, CHRC, CHC-F) – from SCCE, HCCA, AHIMA or IAAP.
