About the position

For those who want to keep growing, learning, and evolving, Kelly Services is seeking a Sr. Contract Analyst & Negotiator to work at a well-known insurance company in Chicago, IL. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $58 per hour and a typical schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility of working three days onsite and two days from home. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, providing a pathway to a stable career in a dynamic environment. As a Sr. Contract Analyst & Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating, negotiating, and executing agreements with suppliers and service providers. You will collaborate closely with Procurement Contracting Managers and Senior Contracting Managers to ensure that all contracts are managed effectively. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. You will also be responsible for prioritizing and managing multiple contract negotiations while adhering to project timelines, ensuring that all agreements are executed efficiently and effectively. This position is ideal for individuals who have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in drafting and negotiating contract documents. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical, as is the ability to mentor junior Contracting Analysts and Negotiators. Preferred qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree or legal/contract management/paralegal experience, experience negotiating agreements in the healthcare industry, familiarity with HIPAA regulations, and proficiency in using automated contract management systems and electronic signature tools. Familiarity with Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Word is also beneficial.
