About the position

As a Senior Content Writer - Team Lead at Stewart, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the company and the industry. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about leveraging strategic insights to enhance the coordination, production, and management of written, visual, and digital marketing and communications strategies. You will oversee the writing and video production teams, guiding them in developing highly targeted creative campaigns and brand marketing initiatives. Your role will require a blend of strategic thinking, conceptual competency, and strong writing skills, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across various media, including video, digital, experiential, social, and print. In this position, you will be responsible for formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources that align with the company's vision of becoming the premier title services company. You will need to possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as project management capabilities to recognize, avoid, and resolve problems effectively. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to your team will be essential in generating clarity and alignment on projects and initiatives. You will also be tasked with developing content that accurately reflects the company's ideals and values, while managing writers in the creation of both print and digital content that showcases the products, services, and expertise offered by Stewart. Your role may involve leading functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements, and you will collaborate closely with graphic designers and the video team to determine the appropriate visual, textual, and animated elements of various projects. Responsibilities

  • Manage writers in the creation of print and digital content that provides information or showcases the products, services and expertise the company offers
  • Communicates difficult concepts to team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products
  • Develops content that accurately reflects company ideals
  • Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
  • Interprets internal/external business environment
  • Recommends best practices to improve processes or services
  • Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives
  • May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
  • Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
  • Collaborates with graphic designers and video team to determine appropriate visual, textual and animated elements of projects
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
  • 10+ years' experience working as a copywriter in an agency or corporate marketing environment in brand, visual identity, creative services/advertising with experience working across all marketing mediums
  • 3+ years managing creative teams
  • Skilled at working with multiple internal and external parties of various levels including C-suite.
