The Senior Curriculum Development Lead (SCD) is a contract position focused on developing an innovative AI-driven web development curriculum for undergraduate students. This role involves collaboration with various teams to create engaging online courses that integrate the latest AI tools, ensuring students are equipped with essential web development and coding skills. The position is critical for shaping the educational experience and enhancing student employability in the tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and iterate on a comprehensive AI-driven web development curriculum suitable for college students across all majors.
- Work closely with learning designers, industry advisors, and video content developers to ensure cohesive course structure and effective learning outcomes.
- Define clear learning objectives that align with the program's goal of equipping students with both foundational web development and AI-driven coding skills.
- Review, edit, and provide feedback on educational videos, ensuring high-quality, engaging content aligned with learning objectives.
- Develop scalable lesson plans for live online sessions (LiveLabs) to foster teamwork and technical skills among diverse student groups.
- Stay up-to-date on AI coding tools and techniques, integrating these into the curriculum to ensure students gain cutting-edge skills.
- Direct the content development team, ensuring educational materials meet academic and industry standards, and are produced on time and on budget.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, and other modern frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI code editors and a strong interest in incorporating AI into web development education.
- Proven experience in curriculum design, content creation, or online teaching, ideally within an undergraduate or bootcamp setting.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to manage a team of contractors and deliver complex projects on time and on budget.
