About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst position at Belcan is a full-time role focused on leveraging data architecture to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. The analyst will collaborate with plant analysts and business stakeholders to gather data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize operations. This role requires a strong technical foundation and strategic thinking to enhance data processes and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data architecture.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
• Must legally be able to work in the US or Canada.
• Plant or manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Plant analysts and manufacturing POC teams to gather data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize operations and achieve strategic goals.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data processes and tools, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across systems, performing data validation and cleansing as needed.
