We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team. In this role, you will drive critical projects that leverage data to solve complex business problems and enhance customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, marketing, and operations, to develop and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models to optimize key business functions such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and customer personalization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for data-driven improvements and provide actionable insights to support business strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows to ensure the seamless integration of data sources across various systems.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.
• Work with engineering teams to implement models in production environments and ensure their robustness and scalability.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply new techniques to improve existing processes and models.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience working with large datasets, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership.
• Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is a plus.
