About The Position

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will work with Software Engineering teams in implementing HCA Healthcare's DevSecOps (Development Security Operations) initiative. The engineer will be responsible for building standardized CI/CD pipeline for various languages used within the enterprise ensuring security standards are implemented. Engineer will be responsible enabling Security tooling as part of CI/CD pipeline. Key responsibilities of the role include building, automating, and implementing software security engineering best practices, governance, controls and helping teams in remediation. Day to day responsibilities include building standard DevOps pipelines keeping security top of the mind, customer relationship management, problem and incident management and helping engineering teams in delivering high quality software security consulting for product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in deploying secure software solutions.
  • Ability to write automation scripts with Python, PowerShell, or C#.
  • Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, PostgresDB, DB2, BigQuery.
  • Experience with deployment, support, and troubleshooting of n-tier applications.
  • Proven experience in DevSecOps domain.
  • Experience in designing and building CICD pipelines using GitHub/ADO.
  • Strong background with deploying workloads to Cloud Azure or GCP.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Software Engineering teams to implement DevSecOps initiatives.
  • Build standardized CI/CD pipelines for various languages.
  • Enable security tooling as part of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Build, automate, and implement software security engineering best practices.
  • Design security best practices and governance documentation.
  • Provide a robust CI/CD pipeline for testing and validating code.
  • Design, build and implement secure automation solutions for production environments.
  • Build and maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries.
  • Design, implement automation and system integration with developer tools.
  • Provide technical documentation for operational handoff.
