About the position

The Senior Digital Communications Analyst at Houston Methodist is responsible for managing and optimizing digital content across HR platforms, including the intranet and Workday. This role involves content review, maintenance, analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication strategies within HR and the organization. The analyst will also mentor team members and act as a liaison between technical teams and internal customers, ensuring that digital communications align with the organization's technology strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies for content review, updating, and maintenance of HR digital platforms.
  • Develop policies and procedures for monitoring content and ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for the digital communications team.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams to align business objectives with technology solutions.
  • Update web content through Sitecore and manage new microsites using WordPress.
  • Align project management resources for digital communications projects and serve as project manager as needed.
  • Lead IT activities during the lifecycle of web-based digital communications applications.
  • Ensure websites are updated with the latest software versions and security patches.
  • Coordinate analytics tracking with Marketing for reporting needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
  • Six years of experience in digital communications.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • Extensive PC software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Sitecore and WordPress is required.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Elsevier SciVal or Pure, Kaltura, EthosCE, Localist, and Interact preferred.
