This position is based in Minden, Nevada , with occasional travel to a secondary location in Queen Creek, Arizona . The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of financial leadership experience , with at least 5 years in senior roles within healthcare, behavioral health, or social services. Expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and medical billing , coupled with strategic financial planning, is essential. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's goals. Provide recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis. Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting process, forecasting, and financial reporting to support sound decision-making. Risk Management & Compliance: Implement strong internal controls, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with financial and healthcare regulations. Billing & Collections Management: Oversee Medicaid and Medicare billing processes, manage collections, and optimize efficiency in RFP processes. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a mission-driven finance team focused on collaboration and excellence. Operational Efficiency: Optimize accounting systems, payroll processes, and cost-saving initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies. Experience Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 10+ years in financial management, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Public/Private company experience Comfortable Overseeing 12 companies along with a team of over 30 in Accounting and Finance. Expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and healthcare billing processes. Proven success in large-scale budgeting and forecasting. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teams. Preferred Qualifications: CPA, MBA, or CMA credentials. Experience in multi-state operations and nonprofit financial management. Familiarity with financial systems like Blackbaud, MIP, or other grant management tools.
