About the position

The Senior Director of Music Publishing at Integrity Music is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and implementing the growth of the company's song catalog and publishing revenues. This position requires a strategic leader who can develop, maintain, and advocate for a global roster of songwriters, ensuring that they have ample opportunities to create songs for the Church while maximizing their overall career development and growth. The Senior Director will lead the publishing team to achieve annual revenue goals and strategic initiatives, fostering a creative songwriting culture that encourages collaboration and innovation. In this role, the Senior Director will be tasked with establishing and maintaining strong external relationships and networks, seeking out strategic revenue growth opportunities, and developing new songs and partnerships that are mutually beneficial. As a member of the Integrity Leadership Team, the Senior Director should embody the mission and values of Integrity Music, ensuring that the organization remains aligned with its core objectives. The position involves leading the development and execution of innovative songwriting initiatives, facilitating a creative environment for the Integrity Music exclusive songwriter roster, and mentoring the publishing team to identify high-impact opportunities. The Senior Director will also oversee the development of key promotional platforms, collaborate with the A&R team to promote priority songs, and manage the publishing department's budget to optimize financial performance. This role requires a deep understanding of the music industry, a passion for worship, and the ability to drive impactful growth and innovation across international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement the growth of Integrity Music's song catalog and publishing revenues.
  • Develop and maintain a global roster of songwriters, providing strategic opportunities for song creation.
  • Lead the publishing team to achieve annual revenue goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong external relationships and networks for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the A&R team to promote priority radio and congregational songs.
  • Design and execute innovative song-focused gatherings to enhance creativity.
  • Provide strategic guidance for song development for staff writers.
  • Pursue and secure enhanced exposure for songs through industry connections.
  • Develop a robust sync approach and coordinate with 3rd party sync agents.
  • Support strategic company initiatives focused on Global Priority Songs.
  • Direct and oversee global publishing initiatives and song development.
  • Manage the publishing department's budget and lead the annual budget proposal process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Business, Music Education, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in the music recording industry.
  • Experience as a songwriter or worship leader preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital music distribution, copyright law, and royalty management.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience with video/audio editing equipment and software.
