The Oil, Gas & Chemical global practice engages in a wide range of projects across the oil, gas, and chemicals spectrum, including gas plants, midstream facilities, refining assets, chemical production plants, and stand-alone storage and logistics facilities. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in industrial electrical system design requirements, project schedules, and leadership skills to guide teams of engineers and designers. Your contributions will be vital in fostering strong relationships with clients and driving business growth. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead and execute detailed design electrical engineering activities for Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) projects within the downstream and midstream sectors of the U.S. Oil, Gas, and Chemical operations. You may also be involved in the front-end planning stages and will oversee projects through to completion, addressing field inquiries regarding installation details and commissioning procedures. Your responsibilities will include executing electrical engineering tasks within budget constraints by monitoring labor hours and material quantities. You will be responsible for all electrical work products, including construction work packages, power system studies, and procurement packages. Additionally, you will develop hazardous area classification source forms and plans, design various voltage distribution systems, engineer motor schematics, and perform comprehensive power system studies. You will also provide leadership and guidance to less experienced staff members, ensuring the technical and constructability integrity of products and equipment. Regular site visits will be necessary to assess existing electrical conditions, and you will maintain ongoing communication with clients and vendors, collaborating daily with other discipline engineers and project managers.
