About the position
The Senior Endpoint Security Engineer plays a crucial role in defining and delivering the endpoint security strategy for Bank of America. This position involves working on complex projects to implement world-class endpoint protection controls, requiring in-depth knowledge of endpoint security and the ability to collaborate with various technology teams globally. The engineer will serve as a subject matter expert, interfacing with cyber defenders to align security controls with emerging threats.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver major components of the endpoint security strategy.
- Collaborate with program leaders on multi-million-dollar projects.
- Research, engineer, test, implement, and maintain endpoint security solutions.
- Present solutions to leadership and negotiate delivery paths with stakeholders.
- Serve as a key subject matter expert across all endpoint security projects.
- Interface with cyber defenders to identify and align controls with emerging tactics and techniques.
- Lead complex technical projects and facilitate project meetings.
- Author project documentation and negotiate issue resolution.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors against endpoints.
- Understanding of operating system internals and methods for preventing OS exploits.
- Experience with vendor endpoint security controls.
- Experience with network-based endpoint security controls, such as web proxies and email security gateways.
- Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build consensus.
- Experience leading complex technical projects and meeting target timelines.
- Demonstrable ability to self-direct project outcomes with minimal supervision.
