About the position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Engineering Mission Data Design Manager (GRP2) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position provides direct acquisition program technical and management support as a key team member supporting USAF Weapons Systems Program Office (SPO) activities, specifically the program materiel leader, chief engineer and supportability team, on Eglin AFB, FL. The successful candidate will interface and coordinate with multiple government leads and prime and other contractors within the USAF AFMC AFLCMC/EBI Program Office and enterprise. Responsibilities

  • Work with Government and Prime Contractor engineers and managers in the development and review of the requirements, design and support of weapons systems mission data subsystems and data products to support the EBI Program Chief Engineer and Supportability Team.
  • Provide senior consultation and technical leadership in program TIMs, IPTs and Working Groups as needed and directed.
  • Assess developmental weapons systems' mission data subsystems design and readiness for progression through the product lifecycle by conducting or supporting systems engineering technical review (SETR) processes.
  • Assess Mission Data Subsystems and Products Support Plans to ensure interoperability with other weapons systems data consumers and for program supportability planning for data support from field activities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years experience as a Mission Data Systems and Products (or related and relevant discipline) Architect and Manager in the DoD Acquisition Community or with a DoD Contractor.
  • Working understanding of Mission Data Systems and Products as well as the relevant organizations involved.
  • 15+ years' experience working with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or similar.
  • Master's degree.
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with senior military and government leadership.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
