About the position

The Senior Event Audience Marketing Manager will lead audience acquisition, marketing communications, and campaign strategy for the client's strategic programs and events. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across various teams to execute effective marketing plans that drive event attendance and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the marketing strategy for core event programs, including audience segmentation and campaign timelines.
  • Collaborate with Global Events, Creative, Web, Content, and Product marketing teams to build and execute audience acquisition campaigns.
  • Drive audience acquisition through various channels including email, social media, paid advertising, and web personalization.
  • Act as the 'CMO' for assigned programs, optimizing acquisition efforts to meet event objectives.
  • Review campaign performance data and optimize strategies mid-flight based on findings.
  • Coordinate with Client Design on the development of design assets for campaigns.
  • Develop copy for emails, website content, and social media posts.
  • Deliver end-to-end campaign performance reporting and analytics.
  • Manage project timelines and Jira ticket management for event marketing efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of event audience acquisition or demand generation experience, preferably in tech enterprise events.
  • Project management expertise, including experience with virtual teams.
  • Event marketing/operations or field marketing experience, preferably in tech.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Data-driven and highly analytical with experience in email and social media marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with peers and leaders.
  • Experience creating and managing a multi-channel integrated marketing campaign calendar.
  • Ability to use automation to improve processes and productivity.
  • Superb prioritization skills and ability to delegate work across virtual teams.
  • Ability to multitask and lead multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Desire to enhance marketing efforts with new ideas and strategies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adaptability to changes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Slack and GSuite (Google Calendar, Slides, Sheets, Docs).
