Responsibilities

• Provide tailored underwriting solutions to meet the unique needs of clients.
• Collaborate with a team of underwriters and leaders to develop innovative strategies.
• Analyze data and employ critical thinking to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, presenting underwriting recommendations clearly.
• Adapt to a fluid and changing business environment, demonstrating flexibility in decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ years of commercial Property & Casualty underwriting experience; Entertainment underwriting experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with all internal and external business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations and propose solutions.
• High energy self-starter, who is resilient and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Demonstration of solid time, organizational, and desk management skills.
• Goal-oriented and delivers outcomes.
• Superior technical knowledge and sound decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel within local regional territory as well as travel by plane.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in entertainment underwriting is preferred.
