Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A , NA Fresh Stores FP&A

About the position

The Grocery Finance organization is dedicated to shaping the long-term strategy and future of grocery, omni-channel and new physical store formats across Amazon. As the Sr Financial Analyst within FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in partnering regularly with a broad range of finance and business leaders across the Amazon Physical Stores, Retail Grocery, Whole Foods Market, and WW Operations organization, often at some with the most senior levels within the company.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Planning Lead to take full ownership of existing planning models and invent and simplify new models
• Own/run existing planning models at a set cadence; monthly, quarterly, per planning cycle calendar
• Drive automation and scale of financial planning. Simplify process for internal stakeholders (e.g., finance peers and business partners)
• Provide insights and clarity on team opportunities to leadership and stakeholders
• Partner with product management, finance and engineering teams to understand initiatives and influence automation projects
• Partner with business teams and Finance stakeholders to help develop short- and long-term models and forecasts
• Lead key analytical projects that influence senior leadership decision making

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree

Nice-to-haves

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
