Senior Financial Analyst FP&A

Our location in Abbott Park, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Sr Financial Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis supporting Corporate Financial Services (CFS) / Shared Services Operations (SSO). This role is responsible for building strong business partnerships, and counseling executive management in the following specific activities: global value creation and initiatives, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, management financial reporting, internal controls and asset management. Comprehensively oversee, direct and coordinate key aspects of the CFS/SSO Financial Planning processes and ensure alignment with Abbott Corporate and CFS/SSO business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive results through innovative value creation and initiatives for continuous measurable improvements.
• Manage and coordinate with key business partners in the preparation of business review presentations and related backup/analysis.
• Ensure integrity and validity of financial information (P&L, Cash Flow and Capital) critical for timely and informed business decisions.
• Manage and maintain capital planning calendar, activities and financial templates to support Plan/LBE/Actual requirements.
• Monitor progress of capital planning process with CFP&A and prepare reports/analysis for Capital Authorizations, CAPEX and Project Expense.
• Maintain close relationships with key business partners in CFS/SSO and commercial divisions.
• Prepare various management presentations, relevant data, financial analyses, special projects and related consultation to senior divisional management.
• Oversee and coordinate internal key management financial reporting for CFS/SSO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MA, MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years minimum experience.
• Experience in developing financial models and future planning according to operating needs and growth strategies.
• Previous experience leading and controlling multiple projects and project teams both locally and remote is desired.
• Ability to drive team delivery and maintain focus during periods of change and shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex projects.
• Must be a motivated, forward-thinking individual.
• Exercises good judgment and understanding of dependencies across multiple projects.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
• Structured and organized; use a variety of project management tools to keep projects on track.
