Senior Financial Analyst (Sr. FP&A)

About the position

Canopy is a fast-growing SaaS company in South Jordan, Utah building simple, efficient software for accounting firms. We are looking to revolutionize the accounting space with modern, user-friendly software for a neglected industry. Our goal is to help our clients unlock the firm they’ve always wanted with our Practice Management Suite. We place strong emphasis on delighting our customers, spotting and solving problems, and being good people along the way. We are searching for a Financial Analyst to join the team. This is a hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office).

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic, financial, and operational thought partner to the payments and customer experience team.
• Drive and support financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Build dynamic, detailed, and scalable financial models.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models for strategic planning.
• Partner with key cross-functional and external business partners.
• Develop financial metrics and KPIs to monitor company performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements for financial operations.
• Perform strategic ad-hoc analyses and research.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience (FP&A, investment banking, private equity, strategy, consulting, Big 4).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with financial modeling and framing decisions with data.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• High attention to details with excellent organizational skills.
