About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst at Yorktel will play a crucial role in supporting the FP&A team by providing analytical insights that drive optimal business decision-making. This position involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, collaborating with various departments, and developing financial metrics to monitor performance. The analyst will also be responsible for enhancing forecasting tools and conducting variance analysis to inform management and stakeholders about the company's financial health.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial planning, financial analysis, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning software highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.

• Strong computer skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop various aspects of the company's rolling forecasts using data from diverse systems and sources.
• Maintain forecasts regarding sales bookings and backlog, revenue and profitability on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
• Develop and enhance forecasting tools, including Workday Adaptive Planning software, creating efficiencies and automation.
• Assist management in development of financial and operational metrics for effective monitoring of financial and operational performance.
• Provide pro forma financial and operational analysis as needed by management and key stakeholders.
• Assist with the development of customer profitability analysis, administering reviews with program and customer success managers.
• Challenge the status quo of current practices to ensure accurate planning.
• Perform forecast to actual variance analysis.
• Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with departments across the company to understand their goals and maintain updated forecasts.
• Participate in projects as required, for example analysis of new products.
