Senior Financial Analyst

About the position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive and maintain financial reporting models, framework, and presentation formats. The role involves supporting the finance team in the design, maintenance, and presentation of annual budgets, forecasting, and expense management processes. The analyst will prepare monthly financial reporting and variance reviews, as well as analytical models for new business and service lines. This includes exploring cost savings projects, capital project evaluation, competitive analyses, and payor profitability. The position also requires assisting with account special projects and supporting the accounting team with the month-end close process, including journal entry review and preparation. The position is remote with some travel to the corporate office in Greenville, SC, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain financial reporting models, framework, and presentation formats.
• Support the finance team in the design, maintenance, and presentation of annual budgets, forecasting, and expense management processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance reviews.
• Prepare analytical models for new business and/or service-line.
• Explore cost savings projects, capital project evaluation, competitive analyses, and payor profitability.
• Assist with account special projects as needed.
• Assist accounting with month-end close process, inclusive of journal entry review and/or preparation.

Requirements

• Exposure to large dataset management and model development with some experience with cloud data warehouse and enterprise data analytics platforms.
• Fluent with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Demonstrated experience supporting key business decisions through detailed analytics.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Great Plains / MS Dynamics, or comparable enterprise accounting information system.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management and/or revenue recognition is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly detail-oriented, and demonstrated organizational skills.
• 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in accounting, corporate finance, business analytics, or a related discipline.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.
