The Test Engineering team works across the entire spectrum of products ranging from Lattice Ghost UAS, Sentry Tower, cUAS and our other platforms. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Conduct system-level evaluation of hardware and software
  • Execute ground and flight tests
  • Enhance and develop testing processes
  • Engage in technical test assessments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data and identify system behaviors
  • Drive product enhancements and process improvements
  • Manage the use of test ranges and coordinate with external agencies for testing activities
  • Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years flight test engineering experience
  • Ability to travel as required for planning and testing
  • Previous expertise and working knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations
  • Strong understanding of fundamental flight test processes and principles
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts and apply them
  • Efficiently organize and schedule work phases
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot field-related problems and create effective solutions
  • Strong computer and documentation experience
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas
  • Able to work extended hours as required
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters in Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience as a test conductor, test director, or similar
  • Prior drone experience or small UAS
  • Familiarity with Linux system and programming languages such as Matlab, Python
