About the position

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building intuitive, high-performance web applications that interact with our autonomous vehicle technology. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver seamless, user-friendly interfaces that support the cutting-edge features of our autonomous driving platform. Your expertise in React and TypeScript will be essential in creating robust and scalable front-end solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, UX/UI, product) to define and implement user interfaces for autonomous vehicle features.
  • Build and optimize interactive, high-performance visualizations using web technologies.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring that frontend components are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
  • Ensure responsiveness and a seamless experience across devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, continuously improving your knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience in building responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Solid understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid, cross-disciplinary team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Three.js and WebGL for 3D visualization and rendering.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js and Python.
  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry.
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS).
