About the position

The Senior Application Developer, Full Stack role is focused on developing and deploying enhancements and new applications for various computing environments. This position requires a strong technical background in programming languages and tools, along with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. The developer will collaborate with project teams, business analysts, and end-users to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications
• Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages
• Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software
• Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team's skills and expertise are current

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least 12 years of experience in application development or application engineering
• 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering
• Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Nice-to-haves

• Strong experience working with Microservices, Cloud-Native architecture with DevOps and Agile engineering practices
• Experience developing with an RDBMS, NOSQL database as well as understanding of schema and table design
• Experience with Azure power platform services, logic apps, Azure APIM and Azure Data Services
