Senior Game Developer (Remote)

We are now seeking a Senior Game Developer to design and implement cutting-edge game functionalities and features, ensuring good performance and compatibility across multiple platforms, including mobile and desktop. This role demands a strong foundation in game development, particularly with Cocos Creator, and requires collaboration within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement essential game functionalities and features using Cocos Creator.
• Assist in optimizing game performance and stability across different devices and operating systems, focusing on rendering optimization and efficient memory management.
• Work closely with other team members to contribute to high-quality projects.
• Employ problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Adapt and learn new technologies and industry trends to enhance personal growth and benefit the team.
• Support the packaging and debugging processes efficiently.
• Customize and extend Cocos Creator to meet the needs of specific projects.
• Uphold a high standard of code integrity and organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in game development with Cocos Creator.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to address and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Basic understanding of game design patterns.
• Experience in rendering and resource optimization to enhance game performance.
• Experience developing games for iOS, Android, and HTML5 platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to other game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is beneficial.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• The ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is advantageous but not required.
