About The Position

The Employee Relations role is designed to act as a trusted advisor to both employees and managers, focusing on resolving workplace issues while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position involves investigating employee concerns and grievances, ensuring that resolutions are fair and consistent with company policies. Additionally, the role includes developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and retention. In the Compliance & HR Policies area, the role ensures adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO regulations. Regular audits of HR policies and procedures are conducted to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices. Training is provided to managers and employees on compliance, workplace ethics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The Benefits Administration aspect involves overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs, which include health insurance, 401(k), leave policies, and wellness initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with vendors and brokers to evaluate and enhance benefits offerings, as well as ensuring timely communication and education regarding benefits to employees and addressing any related concerns.
